The Imperial Treasure in ION Orchard has a queue almost all the time. As a result, we always passed by and gazed at the hanging ducks and pork.
However on this particular day, we were determined to try the popular restaurant and see what kind of treasures it holds.
I tried the dry barbecue pork noodles.
The noodles were doused in a strong flavored sauce and topped with Chinese barbecue pork. This dish was absolutely delicious. It also came with a clear, rather soothing soup.
For sides we ordered two items from the dimsum menu.
The crispy leek dumplings and the mushroom dumplings. Both were extremely healthy and made of a very light textured dumpling skin.
This restaurant was impressive for a reasonable price. There are also soup noodles and Congee on the menu to try. For those visiting at meal hours, make sure to get a waiting ticket 30 minutes to an hour before.
